I partnered with World Market to get some great ingredients and stylish tabletop items for making this recipe, and to tell you about a great contest they’re running with the opportunity to win $5,000 of fabulous stuff ( including a nice chunk of cash ). Make sure you scroll to the bottom to check it out! If you buy some of the linked items in this post, I’ll receive a small compensation. As always, all opinions are strictly my own.
I’ve always been an eater of salads, but I never knew I could love salads until I spent a little time in France, and had my first Salade Lyonnaise.
And what’s not to love? The piquant bite of real Maille Dijon mustard (Seriously the best and by far my favorite of the international food brands! Nothing else compares!), the crisp and peppery greens, a little bit of cured pork, and the warm, gooey comfort of a runny egg perched on top… the Salade Lyonnaise is a wonderful thing. A bottle of fabulous French Champagne to pair with it is optional. Sort of. Oh, who am I kidding, you need it. Seriously, just treat yo’ self with some of these authentic international favorites from World Market: after all, you’re making a salad! You’ve earned it.
