An easy, festive Champagne Christmas Cocktail with a tart cranberry flair: The Poinsettia.
Before we go on about Poinsettia drinks, I know you're here looking for a great Christmas cocktail, so I just wanted to put in a quick recommendation:
Make the Poinsettias, but also serve plain champagne with a few fresh cranberries in them for those people who aren't looking for the extra juice and liqueur. I absolutely love how festive a simple glass of champagne with the right garnish is!
Okay, plug for plain champagne aside, the Poinsettia cocktail is essentially just a Cranberry Mimosa. In fact, you can definitely put a splash of cranberry juice into champagne and call it a day -- it tastes delicious!
But for this cranberry Christmas cocktail, I like to add a little something extra: Grand Marnier.
How did you make the garnish for these poinsettia cocktails?
It's way easier than it looks. Simply cut a 2" stalk of rosemary, then gently push the firmer end into a raw cranberry, and then do the same with a second cranberry.
If you rosemary stalk isn't strong enough to do this, use a kebab skewer or toothpick to make a preliminary hole, and then push the rosemary through it.

I tried Martha Stewart's recipe but like yours better. She used vodka, slices of orange and less cranberry juice. Yours is a keeper!
