When I decided to start a food blog, I thought it was meant to be. I had recently left an eight year stint in various forms of food and beverage to go back to college for a BS in CIS ( think Computer Science ), and thought a food blog would be the perfect thing to capture all of my beloved recipes and showcase my technical talent. I also was a professional photographer for a short bit in my early twenties, so I thought the jump from that ( largely landscape photography ) to food photography would be easy. I honestly didn't realize there would be a jump at all.
Ahhhh, to be young and foolish!
Over the past three years, and really in the past few months, I've started to monetize my blog. I have learned a lot, and I'm going to capture both the basics, and all of the things I wish I could have found somewhere else on the internet to help me along. That means that this will be a living, growing page of information, so check back often!
