Halloween Sangria
A spooky sangria made with red wine and blackberry brandy.
Servings: 4 glasses
Ingredients
- ½ cup blackberries
- ½ medium apple cored, skin on, chopped into small pieces
- ½ medium orange rind on, sliced into small pieces, large seeds removed . I used a blood orange for a little tartness and extra spooky flair
- ¾ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- ½ cup blackberry brandy plus more to taste
- 750 ml bottle dry red wine Spanish or french Red Table Wine is perfect - don't use anything too expensive! Scroll up in the post to see my specific favorites
- 2 cups ice
Instructions
- Stir all ingredients in a large pitcher. Chill at least 1 hour or overnight, and serve.
Notes
For a lighter flavor, add 12 ounces of sparkling water right before serving.
