Life has been BUSY recently, so I've been all about making gourmet recipes simple for the past few months, particularly for my cocktails. Remember a few weeks ago when I introduced you to the fabulous sodas at Cannonborough Beverage Company and the super easy Basil Gimlet you can make with one of their new sodas? Today I have another one:
Two Ingredient Grapefruit Elderflower Cocktail.
I love that this recipe can be made by absolutely anyone. Can you pour a shot of vodka over ice and top with soda? Then you can make this cocktail. If you want to go extra fancy, slice a grapefruit right through the center and slide it down the side of the glass before adding the ice, vodka, and soda.
I love the tart, crisp bite of the grapefruit, and how it's perfectly rounded out by a slight sweetness and floral flavor from the elderflower.
Once again, this "recipe" is so simple that it seems silly to even put it in print, but here it is.
