This post is part of a partnership with Cost Plus World Market. I was compensated for this work, but all opinions are my own.
I LOVE going crazy around the holidays with the baking and Christmas/Holiday entertaining. It starts somewhere in the middle of November when planning for Thanksgiving, and I tend to lean into it right up until New Year's Eve.
But Christmas baking -- all of the cookies and pies and cakes -- that's the best baking there is. So when I was given the opportunity to work with Cost Plus World Market to create a baking recipe inspired by the 8th day ( 8 Maids a-Milking ) in the 12 Days of Christmas, I jumped at it!
I think this recipe is really what Christmas is all about -- it's ah-mazing on its own, but it's even more fun to make the base ahead, and then fill your table with all sorts of candy and chocolate for your guests to top each milk chocolate pot de creme and make it their own.
Even better than just a fabulous recipe, is a fabulous recipe that is a part of a KILLER contest that you should absolutely enter by clicking here: Great Holiday Baking Sweepstakes
