If you want something lightly boozy and easily drinkable, the limoncello spritz is going to be your new favorite porch drink. This limoncello cocktail is only lightly boozy, inspired by the Aperol Spritz, and very refreshing! You can also easily batch it to make a punch type cocktail for a party.
Limoncello Spritz Recipe
Just like its Aperol based cousin, we use a basic 3:2:1 ratio of Prosecco, Limoncello, and bubbly water. At a party, I like to leave the ingredients out for both drinks, and assortment of garnishes like lemons, orange peels, and raspberries, and let people build their own.
where to buy limoncello?
If you live in a state where the hard stuff is sold in a grocery store, you should be able to find limoncello in with the aperitifs and/or cordials.
If you live in a state where you need to go to an ABC store or other type of liquor store, head there first! And once again check in the aperitifs and cordials section.
On its own limoncello is delightful: sweet and tart with a hit of booziness in the back.
Used in cocktails, it's a great secret weapon to add a citrusy sweet punch to any of your existing favorites.

This looks divine. I tried my hand at Meyer Limoncello this year. I think this will be a fun cocktail to try it with. Thanks!

I love making it with the Meyer lemons - they have such a nice flavor to them. Definitely a good cocktail to test it out with! Cheers!
